From June 1833 till September 1836 Chopin rented an apartment here. At the beginning dr Aleksander Hoffman, Polish emigrant, was his flatmate, later Jan Matuszyñski, Chopin's friend.
The hotel does not exist any more. There only remains the street, 5, rue de la Chaussée d'Antin, where it was located.
