The Barbican is well sign-posted and has four car parks, all of which can be accessed from Silk St.

Underground

Barbican:

The nearest Underground station is Barbican, on the Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines. To reach the Barbican, exit the station and cross Aldersgate Street in front of you. Walk through the road tunnel (Beech Street) before taking the first turning right into Silk Street. The Barbican is straight ahead of you. Alternatively, exit the station using the stairs to the first floor, crossing the road using the footbridge before following the signs to the Barbican. Other Underground stations nearby are Moorgate, St Paul's, Bank, Liverpool Street and Mansion House.

Train

Barbican:

The nearest rail stations are Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Blackfriars and City Thameslink. Please note City Thameslink is only open until 9pm weekdays and Saturday, and is closed on Sunday.

Bus

Services running to the Barbican are as follows:
153 (stops outside Barbican on Silk Street), 8, 11, 26, 35, 42, 43, 47, 48, 55, 56, 76, 78, 100, 133, 141, 149, 172, 214, 242, 271, 344 (7 days a week);
4, 243 (Mon-Sat);
21, 23, 25, 501, 505, 521 (Mon-Fri)



Tickets:
Most tickets can be baught online at secure server www.barbican.org.uk.(only full price tickets can currently be booked online). There is a £1.00 administration fee for each online transaction (not per ticket).

By telephone (for credit/debit card bookings and reservations 9am-8pm daily on 020 7638 8891) We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Switch for payment.
There is a £1.65 administration fee for each telephone transaction

In person at the Advance Box Office, Silk Street entrance, Mon-Sat 10am-8pm Sun and Bank Holidays 12noon-8pm. Ticket desks in the foyers for collection of prepaid tickets and the purchase of tickets open 90 minutes prior to performances in the Barbican Hall.
