The aim of the Foundation is to disseminate and promote the works of Fryderyk Chopin, to further disseminate knowledge about his life and work and to preserve Chopin memorabilia, his manuscripts and other documents as well as places
connected with him.
The focus of the Foundation is on developing artistic, scientific and
publishing activity, promoting Chopin's music throughout the world and
offering the public opportunities to participate in musical culture.
Another priority is to promote young pianists and musicologists and to
support their artistic and scientific endeavours.
The Foundation Council consists of The Fryderyk Chopin Society, The National Bank of Poland.
Board of the Foundation: Marek Niewiarowski - Secretary General,
Antoni Grudziński - Member of the Board, Zbigniew Lasocki - Member of
the Board.
