Foundation of International Chopin Festivals in Duszniki Zdrój Poland

The International Chopin Festivals Foundation in Duszniki Zdroj was founded in 1989 to keep Chopin traditions alive. The Foundation organises International Chopin Festivals in Duszniki Zdroj and collects important historical documents: letters, photographs, medals. A special chronicle of Duszniki festivals has been recently released. It was written by renowned historians and musicologists. The Foundation also archives video and audio recordings. In August 2000 there was an official opening of the International Chopin Centre in Duszniki, a place where masterclasses and symposia are to be organised.
