Date: Tuesday, 21 December 2004, at 20:00

Venue: France, Paris - Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique,
Organizations: Association Francaise d'Action Artistique, Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Fryderyk Chopin Institute, Société Chopin à Paris,

Description
The Chopin Society in Paris invites for the reenactment of Chopin's last performance in Paris, which took place on February 16th, 1848, less than a year before the composer's death. The concert was reenacted before in Poland in 1999.

The program features the same works, which were most probably included in the repertoire of the performance in 1848:
Trio in E Major by Mozart, for whom Chopin had reverence, vocal works by Meyerbeer, Donizetti and Bellini, who is buried beside Chopin at the Père-Lachaise cemetery, works for piano and sonata for piano and cello by Chopin.

The concert features artists from Poland and France.
