Description The first auditions of 80 pianists (from 18 countries), who have got through the qualifying round, start on Monday, October 3rd. The jury chaired by Andrzej Jasinski consists of distinguished pianists from around the world, including laureates of previous Chopin Competitions in Warsaw - Piotr Paleczny, Janusz Olejniczak, Dang Thai Son, Krzysztof Jablonski and Ewa Pobłocka. No more than 12 pianists are to be selected for the finals, which are scheduled between October 18th – 21st.
